A 26 year old, BA Graduate with a passion for creativity and new and innovative approaches to Film and TV Post Production.
Having initially spent a year working on various HETV Drama productions as a Floor/Base Runner, I moved into a Technical Operator role at The Picture Shop Bristol (formerly 'The Farm Group'). This really broadened my understanding of the industry, combining both production and post production workflows.
I have a very strong work ethic, never letting people down and always stepping up to help when needed. Understanding the pressure that teams are placed under in such a fast paced, high pressured industry I always place support, enthusiasm, strong communication and positivity as high priorities.
During my time as a Tech Op I learnt about each individual stage of Post in great detail. From backing up the media/ingesting rushes for a wide range of workflows to delivering files to channels meeting their specific specs. I have also supported Online, Grade and Audio by creating end of edit assets and continuing to assist through any changes. Having helped with syncing & grouping Animal Park (BBC), Go Hard Or Go Home (BBC), Worst House on the Street (Channel 4), Can't Sell Must Sell (Channel 4) & Ambulance (BBC), I became the lead Tech Op for all pre-edit prep including syncing & grouping on Nadiya's Simple Spices (BBC).
Being now fully confident and competent as a Tech Op, I am looking to step up into an Assistant Editor role where I can begin to fulfil my creative ambitions.
