Martyn Watkin

I've worked in the industry for a number of years now and have a range of experience. Most recently, I've been working as an edit assistant, which has involved ingesting archive, preparing timeline for the conform and online stages, ingesting and providing playouts of VFX and re-editing short sections of the timelines as and when it's needed. Before that, I worked at Evolutions Bristol, in Finishing and Mastering, providing support to colourists and the online.
I've mostly worked with Avid, though I am also experienced in working with Resolve, Premiere and Baselight, as well as having some Flame experience. I'm good at picking things up quickly and working through problems that can come up in the course of an edit, plus with my experience in engineering and tech support, I'm pretty handy at fixing most of the technical issues that Avid likes to throw up once in a while.
