Nicholas Seaton

I came to post-production via a degree in architecture and a career in photography. In 2024 I graduated with an MA from the London Film School where I specialised as an editor and director. Since then I have worked at Roundtable Post, Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery as an edit assistant and assistant editor.

I am trained in Avid and can be relied upon to confidently manage dailies, syncing, sub-clipping, general project management, temp-sound design and turnovers within a networked environment.

I am a polite and respectful person, easy to work with, who places great importance on calm and pragmatic organisation. My passion is for storytelling and love engaging in storytelling discussions at any level.

As well as working in post I am developing directorial work. My latest short film 'Lapel' has been selected for BAFTA & Academy qualifying festivals: Bolton Film Festival, Aesthetica Film Festival, Rhode Island Film Festival (shortlisted), InterFilm Berlin. It has also been shortlisted by the British Society of Cinematographers for the 'Best Short Film: Student Category'.
